Financial education
We believe in working closely with employers to help them to provide the most appropriate financial solutions to their employees throughout their career. Our services have been refined over almost 40 years to meet the needs of our employer partners, their employees and in line with industry changes.
Close provides financial education in the UK, delivering over 650 financial education events per year for more than 200 different employers. We welcome over 15,000 individuals to these events each year, most of whom are approaching retirement or considering their retirement options.
Independence
Of particular importance to employers is that any course delivered by Close is a true education event and is completely unbiased. We use independent course tutors and any financial advice we provide is given only in response to requests from individuals. It is our belief that the only way to ensure an unbiased approach is to charge a fee rather than receive commission from product providers. By adopting this approach we can, and do, consider investments from National Savings to shares. This unbiased view on investments is crucial to both the employer and employee when providing financial seminars. In support of our investment approach we are pleased to have been chosen, after an extensive tender process, by National Savings & Investments to provide investment advice to its monthly million pound Premium Bond winners.
Specialist speakers
At Close we use the services of independent course tutors to steward our courses. We work with an extensive group of experienced approved tutors which ensures that we are always able to meet any request for courses, even those made at short notice and in any part of the UK. Additionally we have an in-house team of dedicated financial lecturers together with a group of advisers, both of whom are experienced specialists in delivering finance seminars, a fundamental part of any financial education course.
Our team
To ensure that we can deliver these volumes whilst retaining high quality standards and consistency, we have a dedicated and experienced Employer Solutions Team, who endeavours to match the content of each event to an employer's requirements and expectations. Our Employer Solutions Team operates throughout the UK working closely with our Marketing Team, who ensures the most appropriate expert speakers are selected and all support materials and logistics are handled professionally.
